I'm Fairlight.

Really. Kind of a cool name for a photographer, isn't it? Thanks, Mom. I'm always chasing the light- the sparkly, radiant, glowing, luminous, lustrous light. And I want to put you in it.

I'm the mom of teens, cats, a dog and a husband. I care for a lot. I care a lot about my clients too, and that shows in my work.

I make naturally lit portraits of people being themselves. It's as simple (and technical) as that. I make photographs of families, little kids, bigger kids, seniors in high school, singles, couples and professionals for folks to share, and keep and treasure.

I shoot digitally for most of my clients, but my heart has always been in film- from 35, to 120 to 4x5, and I have the analog camera collection (and fixer holes in tshirts) to prove it. I still shoot film for myself and others from time to time.
